Details of the Job/Internship
Meditab India is hiring a Paralegal with 2-3 years of experience to join their office in Ahmedabad. The role involves drafting and reviewing US contracts, assisting with corporate litigation procedures, and supporting business-specific legal needs, including corporate meetings, resolutions, and industry-related documentation.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review, track, and monitor legislation affecting company products and processes.
- Update leadership with timely analysis and summaries of new legislation and regulations.
- Assist in implementing changes to contracts to comply with regulations.
- Provide support for litigation, mediation, arbitration, and responses to complaints.
- Renew and maintain company licensing.
- Draft, file, and manage various business entity documents with State agencies.
- Draft legal contracts, correspondence, and other documents.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Paralegal certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in using virtual data rooms to upload and organize documents.
- Experience billing time.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Experience working with US-based companies.
