Details of the Job/Internship
Meditab Software is hiring a Paralegal with 2–3 years of experience to support its corporate legal functions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review legal contracts, correspondence, and other legal documents.
- Review, track, and monitor legislation impacting the company’s products and processes.
- Provide leadership with analysis and summaries of new legislation and regulations.
- Assist in implementing contract changes to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Support litigation, mediation, arbitration, and responses to complaints.
- Renew and maintain company licensing.
- Draft, file, and manage business entity documents for corporations, LLCs, and partnerships with state agencies.
- Create organisational documents including articles of incorporation, dissolution documents, stock certificates, and merger agreements.
- Assist with regulatory filings and responses to requests for information.
- Support ethics and compliance programs.
- Perform legal research and assist with corporate governance documentation.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Paralegal certification is an added advantage.
- 2–3 years of relevant paralegal experience.
- Experience working with US-based companies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual data rooms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Experience billing time is preferred.
