Details of the Job/Internship

OSTTRA is hiring a Paralegal with 2–4 years of experience to join their legal team in either their Gurugram or Penang office

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including procurement, software, real estate, and consulting contracts.
• Support global sales and shared services teams with legal solutions.
• Develop expertise in IP, privacy, and data protection laws to advise internal stakeholders.
• Evaluate and address legal and business risks in product and client initiatives.
• Assist with onboarding, regulatory requests, and post-trade legal support.
• Coordinate with internal teams including IT, Compliance, Finance, and Risk.
• Engage and manage external counsel.
• Collaborate with global legal colleagues across multiple jurisdictions.

Eligibility

• Legal degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of in-house or law firm experience in a transactional practice.
• Excellent English communication and drafting skills.
• Experience in commercial, data, software licensing, or financial legal matters preferred.
• Knowledge of English and New York laws is an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Required to work 2 days a week from the OSTTRA office.
