Details of the Job/Internship
Veramed is hiring a Paralegal with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join their offices in India or the UK.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including MSAs, CDAs, and supplier agreements.
- Manage client and supplier onboarding processes.
- Administer Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and maintain contract repositories.
- Oversee investor consent processes and regulatory filings.
- Support board governance and administration for the India entity.
- Assist in ESG reporting and compliance frameworks.
- Develop legal training materials and guidance notes for internal teams.
- Draft and update data protection policies and maintain compliance records such as ROPA, LIAs, and DPIAs.
- Support information security-related legal tasks.
- Provide employment law support, including drafting contracts and advising on legislative changes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Eligibility
- LLM or relevant postgraduate legal qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial and corporate law.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Understanding of data protection laws and information security principles.
- Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
