Details of the Job/Internship

Viasat World Limited is hiring a Paralegal to join their office in Greater London.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing various commercial agreements including those relating to:

1. content acquisition (studios and independent producers); 
2. content distribution (linear and on-demand);
3. technology (including satellite services); 
4. production; 
5. advertising/marketing; and
6. various services (including engagement letters)

• Giving notice and requesting take-downs of copyright-infringing material.
• Company secretarial support.
• M&A support.
• Coordinating information and documentation requests.
• Legal research.
• Contract administration.

Eligibility

• Qualifying law degree graduate with a high-value degree.
• Excellent academic record.
• Experience in/knowledge of media/broadcasting is preferable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, solution-focused, and pragmatic commercial.
• Able to prioritize work and maintain composure under pressure.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
