Details of the Job/Internship

S&A Law Offices is hiring a Partner – Patent with a minimum of 10 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead patent strategy, filing, and prosecution aligned with client goals.
• Oversee drafting of patent specifications and claims.
• Manage client relationships and provide expert IP counsel.
• Drive business development and expand client base.
• Lead and mentor the patent team.
• Supervise office action responses and Patent Office communications.
• Represent clients in hearings, manage oppositions, and draft review petitions.
• Oversee design application filings and prosecutions.
• Manage patent files, prior art searches, PCT filings, and renewals.

Eligibility

• B.Tech/M.Tech/M.Sc in ECE, EEE, CS, IT, or Electrical.
• Patent Agent certification is mandatory.
• Proven leadership in managing patent teams and strategies.
• Expertise in patent drafting, prosecution, and client handling.
• Strong communication and business development skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Additional certifications in intellectual property are advantageous.
