Details of the Job/Internship

Roche is looking for a candidate for the position of Partner with 10 to 12 years of experience to join them at their office in Mumbai

Role and Responsibilities

• You will provide legal advisory and support to the business ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including those related to pharma business, distribution, marketing, regulatory, etc
• You will advice on business proposal structuring, contracts, transactions, and litigation & risk management strategies focusing on minimizing risk
• You will act as a data privacy officer for the legal entity and ensure compliance with applicable data privacy laws and Implement and oversee privacy framework, policies and advise on data privacy breaches and mitigations
• You will handle and supervise all litigations including civil, criminal and regulatory disputes, ensuring effective strategies and resolution
• You will manage relationships with external counsel and ensure cost effective and timely legal representation.
• You will advise and support supply chain for handling brand protection & counterfeit issues and oversee corporate secretarial function ensuring compliance with applicable corporate laws and regulations.
• You will collaborate with senior leadership, cluster teams, to support key legal and strategic initiatives.
• You will liaise with regulatory bodies and industry associations to stay abreast of changes in laws affecting the pharma industry. 

Eligibility

• You are someone with CS and LLB with 10-12 years of experience, exposure to the pharma industry will be an added advantage.
• You must have strong enterprise in drugs laws, IP, data privacy, company law, litigation management, competition law.
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You have ability to multitask in a fast paced / agile decision making environment.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
