Details of the Job/Internship
xPay is hiring a Partnership & Legal Lead with 2–6 years of experience in legal, compliance, or partnerships within the fintech, banking, or payments industry to join its Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end onboarding with global partners, including banks and payment processors.
- Oversee compliance and legal functions related to global partnerships.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, NDAs, and SLAs.
- Manage partnership licenses, due diligence, and regulatory documentation.
- Stay updated on global fintech, payments, and cross-border compliance regulations.
- Maintain compliance documentation for audits, KYC/AML checks, and regulatory reviews.
- Collaborate with external counsels and banking partners to ensure compliance.
- Develop internal policies to mitigate compliance risks and improve operational efficiency.
- Advise internal teams on product launches and partnership compliance.
Eligibility
- LL.B. or equivalent legal qualification.
- 2–6 years of experience in legal, compliance, or partnership management.
- Strong understanding of AML, KYC, GDPR, PCI-DSS, and fintech regulations.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience working with international banks or payment partners preferred.
