Details of the Job/Internship
Ira Law is hiring a Patent Agent with experience of 2–4 years to join their office in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end patent prosecution process, including drafting and filing patent applications.
- Respond to first examination reports (FER) and attend hearings before the Patent Office.
- Conduct technical research and prior art searches to support patentability opinions.
- Assist the litigation team in technical analysis for patent infringement and revocation suits.
- Participate in drafting technical pleadings and providing support for patent-related courtroom matters.
- Expand expertise by transitioning between prosecution workflows and active patent litigation support.
Eligibility
- Educational Qualification: Engineering degree is mandatory.
- Professional Credential: Must be a Registered Patent Agent.
- Experience: 2–4 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) specifically in patent prosecution.
- Competencies: Strong interest in gaining hands-on experience in patent litigation.
