Details of the Job/Internship

Allinnov Research and Development Private Limited is hiring for the position of patent agent with 1-2 years of experience to join them remotely. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, file and prosecute patent and design applications for India, WIPO (PCT), and USPTO.
• Conduct prior art searches and analysis to assess the novelty and patentability of inventions / ideas and provide short and detailed reports to clients.
• Conduct FTO's and White Space Analysis on different domains.
• Draft / assist in drafting high-quality patent specifications across various domains, including material sciences and engineering-related fields.
• Prepare detailed and creative patent sketches to support applications.
• Engage in client interactions, including invention disclosures and brainstorming sessions.
• Conduct IP awareness seminars, webinars and podcasts on innovation and patent protection.
• Create interesting innovation and IP specific content to general public.
• Stay updated on Indian and international patent laws to provide strategic IP consultation.
• Occasionally travel to client locations to present and advise on IP-related matters.

Eligibility

• Must be a Registered Indian Patent Agent with the Indian Patent Office (IPO).
• Master’s Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or Biotechnology.
• 1 to 2 years of post-qualification experience in patent and design drafting, filing, and prosecution.
• Expertise in prior art searches, FTO analysis, and invalidation searches.
• Ability to understand inventions from various technical fields, including material sciences and engineering.
• Strong creative skills with hands-on experience in preparing patent illustrations/sketches.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and knowledge-sharing events.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present innovation and IP-related topics in seminars, podcasts, and webinars.

Salary/Stipend
