Details of the Job/Internship
Attrium & Partners is hiring for the position of Patent Agent with 1-3 years of experience to join their office in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patentability assessments and prior art searches.
- Draft patent specifications, research reports, and client advisories.
- Prepare, file, and prosecute domestic and international patent applications.
- Draft and respond to First Examination Reports (FERs) and other office actions.
- Manage procedural and formal aspects of patent filings and compliance.
- Work closely with inventors and technical teams to understand disclosures.
- Stay informed on updates in IP law, rules, and global patent practices.
Eligibility
- Registered Indian Patent Agent (mandatory).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Law.
- (Law degree preferred for Patent Attorneys).
- 1–3 years of experience in patent drafting, searching, and prosecution.
- Strong grasp of Indian and international patent laws, IPR frameworks, and technical analysis.
- Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage assignments independently and collaboratively.
- Prior experience in end-to-end patent prosecution is an advantage.
