Details of the Job/Internship
Puthran & Associates is hiring a Patent Agent to join their office in Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare and file patent applications.
- Conduct patent searches and assess patentability.
- Ensure compliance with patent law.
- Draft patent documents and conduct legal research.
- Provide strategic advice on patent-related matters.
- Work closely with clients and team members to deliver IP services.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related area.
- Registered Patent Agent certification.
- Skills in patent preparation and patent applications.
- Knowledge of patent law and patentability.
- Experience in patent searching.
- Strong analytical, research, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and onsite in Chennai.
