Details of the Job/Internship

Reformingtimes is hiring a Patent Agent to join their office in Ahmedabad.

Role and Responsibilities

• Reading and Analyzing patent documents including specifications, search and examination reports, prior art documents, non-patent literature, and decisions of Controllers of Patents.
• Well-versed in interpretation of various provisions of the Patents Act, 1970, and the Patent Rules revising time to time as well as the Design Act 2000 and the Design rules; having knowledge and understanding of Patent Act in foreign jurisdictions if preferrable.
• Tracking timelines related to filed as well as Granted Patents/Designs of the Patent and Design Offices of various jurisdiction and notifying the team regarding upcoming deadline. Knowledge of documents/Form in support of Patent/Design application required to be submitted at the Patent Office from time to time and timelines thereof; having knowledge of documentation/form requirement and timelines for Foreign Patent Offices is desirable.
• Experience in handling communication with different law firms/patent offices and coordinating with in-house team.
