Details of the Job/Internship

Aumirah is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Patent Analyst to join their team.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive FTO searches to assess the risk of potential patent infringement and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. 
• Prepare and analyze detailed patent landscape reports, identifying trends, technology developments, and competitive intelligence. 
• Perform in-depth invalidity searches to support patent litigation and challenge the validity of existing patents. 
• Provide support for patentability assessments (including bio sequences) and infringement evaluations. 
• Oversee and track patent filings, grants, and relevant litigation activities to ensure strategic alignment with business goals. 
• Assist in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, including drafting patent claims and responding to office actions. 
• Work closely with internal teams and clients to gather and analyze technical and legal information for patent-related matters. 
• Stay informed about industry trends, advancements in relevant fields, and changes in patent law. 
• Prepare and present clear, detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations effectively. 

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field; advanced degree or coursework in intellectual property is advantageous.
• Certification of Patent Agent is required.
• 3 to 4 years of experience in patent analysis, intellectual property management, as well as prosecution and drafting.
• LLB Degree is preferred, but not required.

Salary/Stipend
