Yenepoya University is hiring for the position of Patent Analyst to join their campus in Mangaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare and draft patent applications with accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct patentability assessments to evaluate the novelty and scope of inventions.
- Perform competitive intelligence research to analyze market and technology trends.
- Interpret and apply patent laws to ensure comprehensive and valid applications.
- Provide clear, concise reports and recommendations based on findings.
- Collaborate with inventors, researchers, and legal teams to strengthen filings.
Eligibility
- Proficiency in patent preparation and patentability assessment.
- Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of patent law and intellectual property regulations.
- Experience in competitive intelligence and patent landscape analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Law (advanced degree preferred).
- Prior experience in intellectual property or patent analysis is an advantage.
