Details of the Job/Internship

V Juridique is hiring an IP Associate with experience of 1–2 years to join their team in a Hybrid or Remote capacity.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist in the filing and prosecution of trademark and patent applications in India and international jurisdictions.
• Draft technical responses to examination reports, oppositions, and legal notices.
• Independently handle the end-to-end lifecycle of trademark filings and prosecution.
• Manage PCT applications, including the tracking of critical deadlines and annuity payments.
• Attend trademark hearings and prepare necessary hearing submissions.
• Handle comprehensive docketing for domestic and international matters to ensure zero deadline misses.
• Conduct trademark searches and prepare structured, analytical reports for clients.
• Maintain accurate records and drive proactive communication with all stakeholders.
• Facilitate due diligence processes and manage IP portfolios through specialized software.

Eligibility

• 1–2 years of specialized experience in Intellectual Property law (law firm or in-house).
• Strong working knowledge of Indian Trademark Rules, Madrid Protocol, and Patent filing procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law preferred.
• Proven experience in IP docketing and managing multiple statutory deadlines.
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of assigned legal matters.
• Familiarity with IP management software or digital docketing tools.
