Details of the Job/Internship
M&P IP Protectors – Patent & Trademark Attorneys is hiring a Patent Associate with a background in pharmaceutical/medicinal/organic chemistry to join their office in Ahmedabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide IP counselling on patentability, infringement, validity, and FTO analyses.
- Draft and prosecute patent applications before the Indian Patent Office and quasi-judicial forums.
- Assist in patent litigation, including legal research and drafting pleadings.
- Conduct IP due diligence, claim mapping, and white space analysis.
- Build and maintain client relationships with strategic legal advice.
- Contribute to business development through pitches, seminars, and publications.
- Stay updated on legal, regulatory, and industry developments in pharmaceutical IP law.
Eligibility
- B.Pharm / B.Sc in Chemistry (mandatory).
- Strong background in pharmaceuticals, medicinal or organic chemistry.
- Experience in patent drafting, prosecution, and IP advisory preferred.
