Details of the Job/Internship

Anand and Anand is hiring a Patent Associate – Organic Chemistry to join their Noida office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide IP counselling on patentability, infringement, validity, and freedom to operate.
• Draft and prosecute patent applications before the Indian Patent Office and quasi-judicial forums.
• Assist in patent litigation through research, pleadings, and subject analysis.
• Conduct IP due diligence, claim mapping, and portfolio analysis.
• Manage client relationships and provide strategic legal advice.
• Participate in business development activities such as seminars and publications.
• Conduct legal research on developments in pharmaceutical IP law.

Eligibility

• PhD in a scientific or technical field related to organic chemistry (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of intellectual property laws and pharmaceutical patents.
• Experience in patent drafting, prosecution, and litigation support.
• Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.

Salary/Stipend
