Details of the Job/Internship

Arctic Invent is hiring a Patent Associate/Senior Patent Associate to join them in Noida office. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft high-quality patent applications for US and EP jurisdictions with minimal supervision.
• Prepare comprehensive and technically accurate patent specifications in compliance with relevant patent laws and practices.
• Conduct thorough reviews and ensure the clarity, accuracy, and completeness of drafted patent documents.
• Collaborate with inventors and technical teams to understand and articulate innovations effectively.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in patent law and relevant technologies.
• Drafting responses to the objections raised by the Patent Offices.
• Understanding Technical disclosures across technical domains.
• Conducting technical research and establishing a comprehensive understanding of a range of subject areas.
• Drafting patent applications related to state-of-the-art inventions.
• Understanding the working of the intellectual property industry.
• Perform other tasks or participate in other projects including patent drafting and patent searching as required (with guidance).
• Develop Europe, US, UK, and Indian patent prosecution skills.
• Candidate must be able to switch between different projects based on operational need
• Preparation of reports for delivery.
• Drafting responses to the Objections raised by the PTO (Patent Trademark Office)
• Preparing Office Action Drafts according to UK, EP, and PCT examination reports in Patent/Trademark.
• Drafting invention reports, patent applications, and office action.

Eligibility

• The candidate must have good patent drafting /prosecution ability, US or EP applications.
• Should have at least 1-3 years of patent Drafting/Prosecution experience.
• Primarily, the candidate should be able to draft patent applications independently, i.e., the candidate should be well versed with patent specification drafting.
• Experience of Visio, CorelDraw, or illustration for patent drawings preparation.
• Should have decision-making and analytical skills.
• Domain expertise in the following technologies, AR/VR, AI/ML, image processing, Blockchain, & IoT will be a plus.
• Proficiency in spoken/written English.
• The candidate should have a bachelor's or master’s degree in electrical, Electronics and Communication or Computer Science engineering.
