Altacit Global is hiring a Patent associate to join them in Chennai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Patent Associates are unique individuals who combine a deep knowledge of a technical area with a good understanding of Patent Law.
- We are looking for confident team players with strong technical and analytical skills, who can effectively manage various tasks and responsibilities and prioritize workflow in order to meet strict deadlines.
- This role demands a combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of patent law.
- Conduct comprehensive patent searches using various databases and tools.
- Analyze and interpret patent specifications, technical literature, and prior art.
- Evaluate the patentability, validity, and infringement risks of inventions.
- Work closely with inventors, engineers, and legal professionals to understand the technical aspects of inventions.
- Prepare detailed reports summarizing patent search results and analysis.
- Document and maintain accurate records of patents, prior art, and analysis.
Eligibility
- Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to grasp new technologies quickly.
- Familiarity with patent laws and regulations.
- Proficient in using patent databases and search tools.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or relevant B.E/B. Tech Degree with good academic record.
