Details of the Job/Internship
Anand and Anand is hiring a Patent Associate to join their office in Noida.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide IP counselling on matters including patentability, infringement, validity, and FTO analyses.
- Draft and prosecute patent applications before the Indian Patent Office and quasi-judicial forums with a focus on pharmaceutical inventions.
- Support in IP litigation matters by conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, briefs, and subject matter analysis.
- Conduct IP due diligence, patent claim mapping, and white space analysis.
- Manage client relationships by providing strategic and tailored legal advice.
- Engage in business development activities such as client pitches, writing articles, seminars, and conferences.
- Stay updated with legal and regulatory developments, case law, and industry trends in pharmaceutical IP law.
Eligibility
PhD in a scientific or technical field related to pharmaceuticals (chemistry, medicinal chemistry, or pharmaceutical chemistry) is mandatory.
