Details of the Job/Internship
InvnTree is hiring a Pantent Associate to join them in Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Delivered at least 70 patent searches independently using free and paid patent databases.
- Sound working experience in handling projects independently related to patent invalidation searches, FTO searches, product searches, technology landscape studies, and other related tasks.
- 3-5 years of experience working on patent searches and analytics projects.
- Experience in communicating directly with inventors/clients over emails and virtual meetings to understand the client's requirements and deliver patent search and analytics projects.
- Ability to work independently on projects and mentor junior associates.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, electrical engineering, communication engineering, or related fields.
Eligibility
- Ability to quickly research and comprehend inventions related to diverse technologies
- Excellent analytical, and articulation skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage time and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Mentoring and reviewing the work of junior associates
- Expert-level knowledge of paid patent databases (preferably Orbit)
- Working knowledge of best strategies for performing different types of patent searches
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Patent agent registration is preferred, not mandatory.
