Details of the Job/Internship

IP Shastra is hiring a Patent Associate – Biotech with 1–3 years of experience in patent drafting to join their office in Pune.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft and prosecute biotech patent applications with a focus on innovation and strategy.
• Work closely with inventors, scientists, and clients to capture and protect inventions.
• Collaborate with legal and technical teams to support IP portfolio management.

Eligibility

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in patent drafting in the biotechnology or life sciences domain.
• Strong technical background in biotechnology, molecular biology, microbiology, or related fields.
• Sound understanding of Indian and international patent laws and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
