Details of the Job/Internship

L. S. Davar & Co. is hiring a Patent Associate (Drafting and Prosecution) with 2–6 years of post-qualification experience in engineering technologies, computer science, physics, or life sciences. The role involves patent drafting, prosecution, and providing strategic advice on IP protection across Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore offices.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft high-quality patent applications in collaboration with inventors and technical teams.
• Prosecute patent applications, including responding to office actions and managing communications with patent offices.
• Conduct prior art searches and patentability analyses.
• Provide strategic advice to clients on patent portfolios and IP protection.
• Stay updated with changes in patent law and best practices in patent prosecution.

Eligibility

• Degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
• Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills.

Salary/Stipend
