Kairos Consulting is hiring for the position of Patent Attorney to join their office in New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft high-quality patent applications (claims, specifications, and drawings) across diverse technical domains.
- Review, refine, and align applications with jurisdictional requirements and client objectives.
- Manage global prosecution, including responding to office actions and crafting persuasive arguments.
- Advise clients on IP strategies, including drafting, filing jurisdictions, and portfolio management.
- Engage with inventors and technical teams to capture innovations and align IP filings with business goals.
- Stay updated on international patent laws, regulatory changes, and case law developments.
- Conduct technical research to strengthen application quality and defensibility.
- Mentor junior associates and guide them in drafting, prosecution, and client interactions.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (required).
- A degree in Law (preferred).
- Proven experience in patent drafting, prosecution, and related IP services.
- Strong track record of handling patents across multiple jurisdictions.
- Prior experience in advising clients on IP portfolio management is desirable.
