Details of the Job/Internship
Anaqua is hiring Patent Docketing Specialists (Principal/Senior/Specialist levels) with 2–5 years of experience to join their team in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Docket and de-docket US and non-US patent deadlines in the IP Management System (IPMS).
- Upload and link relevant documents to the corresponding matter.
- Update bibliographic data and generate accurate reminders for paralegals/attorneys.
- Verify and audit client-provided instructions in IPMS.
- Review prosecution documents received via shared mailboxes.
- Conduct internal quality audits as per client requirements and within deadlines.
- Report docketing queries to the manager or clients as necessary.
- Support new joiner training and process ramp-up.
- Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and report any deviations.
Eligibility
- 2–5 years of experience in patent docketing.
- Knowledge of USPTO, PCT, and international patent filing and prosecution procedures.
- Familiarity with Anaqua or Pattsy Wave platform is a plus.
- Law graduates with relevant experience are preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
