Details of the Job/Internship
Trademarkia is hiring a Patent Docketing & Document Preparation Specialist with at least 2 years of U.S. patent docketing experience in FoundationIP / CPA Global to join its remote team from anywhere in India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage patent docket entries and deadline tracking using FoundationIP / CPA Global.
- Prepare and review accurate filings including provisional, utility, design, and PCT applications.
- Coordinate and assist attorneys with office action responses, declarations, and formal documents.
- Organize and maintain documents in Google Drive with version control and naming consistency.
- Edit, compile, and finalize documents in Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Monitor and report upcoming deadlines, ensuring timely action.
- Apply USPTO compliance checklists and workflow standards.
- Collaborate with U.S.-based teams via email, Slack, and video conferencing.
Eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of experience in U.S. patent docketing using FoundationIP / CPA Global.
- Strong knowledge of USPTO rules, timelines, and official forms.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication.
- Proven ability to manage large volumes of docket items with precision.
- Experience in IP law firm or corporate IP department preferred.
- Familiarity with PCT filings and WIPO procedures is a plus.
- Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working remotely.
