Details of the Job/Internship
Akhildev IPR and Research Services is hiring a Patent Drafter for a permanent office-based role in Noida.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare and draft complete patent specifications for a wide variety of technical inventions.
- Draft comprehensive and technically sound responses to First Examination Reports (FER).
- Prepare detailed hearing replies and represent client interests during the prosecution phase.
- Conduct thorough prior art searches to determine the novelty and inventiveness of new applications.
- Collaborate directly with clients to understand the technical nuances of their inventions.
- Ensure all documentation and filings adhere to Indian and international legal and procedural standards.
- Deliver high-quality legal documentation within strict statutory and internal deadlines.
Eligibility
- Educational Background: Degree in Engineering, Science, or Law is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in drafting patent specifications and responses to FER/Hearing notices.
- Strong skills in legal and technical research, analysis, and documentation.
- Solid understanding of the Indian Patents Act and international patent filing processes (PCT).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and client interaction.
- Proficiency with specialized software tools for patent searching and drafting.
- Advantage: Prior experience working within an IP law firm or a similar legal domain.
