Details of the Job/Internship

InventIP Legal Services LLP is hiring a Patent Drafting Specialist in Noida. The role requires 3 years of experience in drafting patents for US and Indian jurisdictions.

Role and Responsibilities

• Independently draft patent applications for both the US (USPTO/MPEP) and India (Indian Patent Office), ensuring alignment with clients’ innovation strategies and meeting the standards of both jurisdictions.
• Conduct inventor interviews, manage correspondence, and collaborate with attorneys to ensure clear communication and alignment between all stakeholders.
• Stay up to date with changes in patent laws and regulations in both the US and India to ensure compliance with USPTO/MPEP and Indian Patent Office guidelines.
• Manage and prioritize multiple patent drafting projects, ensuring timely and high-quality completion.
• Assist in developing and refining patent strategies for clients, leveraging knowledge of both US and Indian patent systems.

Eligibility

• 2-3 years of experience in patent drafting for both US and Indian jurisdictions.
• Proficiency in US patent processes (USPTO/MPEP) and Indian patent processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (a must).
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of patent laws and regulations in both the US and India.
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technologies and articulate them effectively in patent drafts.
