Details of the Job/Internship

TT Consultants is hiring a Patent Drafting Associate with 1–3 years of experience to join its Drafting Department.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft patent applications, including claims, descriptions, abstracts, and drawing briefs across technical domains.
• Analyze invention disclosures to identify patentable aspects and define claim scope.
• Prepare independent and dependent claims ensuring legal and technical accuracy.
• Conduct prior art searches to assess novelty and non-obviousness.
• Use AI-assisted drafting tools to improve efficiency and quality.
• Review and refine drafts based on feedback from attorneys and clients.
• Ensure compliance with USPTO, EPO, WIPO, and other patent office standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain timelines and quality standards.
• Contribute to development of prompt libraries, templates, and QA frameworks.
• Stay updated on patent law, AI tools, and drafting best practices.

Eligibility

• 1–3 years of experience in patent drafting within the IP industry.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ECE, Mechanical, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of patent claims structure and patentability criteria.
• Familiarity with USPTO, EPO, or PCT filing requirements.
• Ability to interpret technical disclosures and draft structured specifications.
• Exposure to AI tools or willingness to work with AI platforms.
