Details of the Job/Internship
Izmo Microsystems is hiring an In-House Patent Lawyer with 5–7 years of experience to join their Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct patentability research in semiconductor packaging, systems, and production.
- Draft, file, and prosecute US and international patent applications.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to identify inventions and collect disclosures.
- Manage the company’s patent portfolio and maintain timely filings and renewals.
- Provide legal advice on patent infringement, FTO analyses, and licensing.
- Monitor global patent regulations and compliance.
- Coordinate with external counsel on complex IP matters.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognized law school.
- Admission to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
- 5–7 years of patent prosecution experience, particularly in semiconductors.
- Electrical Engineering (EE) degree preferred, but not mandatory.
- Proven expertise in drafting and filing patent applications.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Prior exposure to semiconductor technology preferred.
- Immediate availability preferred.
