Details of the Job/Internship
Brainiac IP Solutions is hiring a Patent Paralegal Assistant (IPR) with over 6 months of experience to join their on-site team in Pune.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage filings of patents and designs, including provisional, complete, divisional, and PCT applications.
- Prepare and file forms such as Form 1, 3, 5, 18, 18A, 25, 26, 27.
- Handle publication tracking, docketing, reminders for FER, RFE, hearings, renewals, and Form 27.
- Assist with NBA approvals, ISR reports, DAS code submissions, and WIPO GPOA preparation.
- Coordinate with clients and team members, monitor patent portfolios, track deadlines, and review documents before filing.
- Communicate with clients directly if necessary, especially during deadlines.
- Draft FER/hearing responses for designs and manage foreign filing quotations.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in paralegal studies or IP law.
- Over 6 months of experience in patent filings and prosecution.
- Knowledge of patent law, patent applications, and legal document preparation.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
- Only Pune-based candidates will be considered.
