Details of the Job/Internship
Photon Legal is hiring for the position of Patent Paralegal Expert with 6-8 years of experience to join their office remotely.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare and file Indian patent applications along with corresponding prosecution documentation.
- Coordinate with U.S. agents for patent filings and prosecution before the USPTO.
- Prepare and file PCT applications and manage all related documentation and formalities.
- Oversee and support patent filings and prosecution in foreign jurisdictions including Europe, Canada, China, UK, Japan, South Korea, and Australia.
- Maintain and manage patent dockets, ensuring compliance with all jurisdictional deadlines.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide prosecution updates, clarify processes, and deliver comprehensive reports.
- Work closely with attorneys, clients, and foreign associates to ensure filings meet all legal and procedural requirements.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Intellectual Property Law, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 6–8 years of experience in patent prosecution, with a strong focus on Indian, U.S., and PCT filings. Exposure to additional jurisdictions such as Europe, Canada, China, Japan, South Korea, and Australia is preferred.
