Details of the Job/Internship
Brainiac IP Solutions is hiring a Patent Paralegal Officer with 6 months to 1 year of experience to join their office in Pune.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle filings of patents and designs.
- Manage docketing system and monitor deadlines.
- File patent applications (Provisional, Complete, Divisional, PCT, etc.).
- File responses to FERs, hearing responses, and attend to renewals.
- Prepare and file forms (e.g., Form 1, 3, 5, 18, 27, etc.).
- File PCT applications and DAS codes with WIPO and IPO.
- Coordinate with clients and ensure compliance with all deadlines.
- Prepare and file requests for NBA approvals.
- Track and report on client patent portfolios and publication notices.
- Handle client communication in case of urgent deadlines.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Paralegal Studies or IP Law.
- Knowledge of Patent Law, Preparation, and Applications.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
Salary/Stipend
