Details of the Job/Internship
S.S.RANA & Co. is hiring a Patent Paralegal for its South Delhi office. The role is suitable for candidates with 2–3 years of post-qualification or relevant experience.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist patent attorneys in patent prosecution and filing.
- Manage patent applications (provisional, complete, PCT, national phase) with relevant patent offices.
- Monitor deadlines, annuities, renewals, and FER responses.
- Maintain patent databases, docketing systems, and case files.
- Conduct patent searches and prior art analysis; prepare search reports.
- Draft routine patent documents, reports, and correspondence.
- Organize and maintain patent records and supporting documentation.
- Assist in preparing documents for hearings, oppositions, or litigation, if required.
Eligibility
- Any Graduate; Law, Science, or Engineering background preferred.
- 2–3 years of experience in patent-related work.
- Knowledge of patent laws, filing procedures, and IP management.
- Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and patent docketing systems.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
