Details of the Job/Internship

Khurana & Khurana is hiring a Patent Prosecution Professional with experience of at least 1 year to join their office in New Delhi. This is a full-time, on-site role involving management of patent prosecution matters, drafting and filing patent applications, responding to office actions and FERs, attending hearings, and drafting written submissions. The role also includes conducting technical analysis, interacting with clients to understand technological innovations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and collaborating with internal teams to support IP strategies and patent filing and maintenance.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage patent prosecution matters.
• Draft and file patent applications.
• Respond to office actions and FERs.
• Attend hearings and draft written submissions.
• Conduct technical analysis related to inventions.
• Interact with clients to understand technological innovations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable IP laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support IP strategies and patent maintenance.

Eligibility

• Registered Indian Patent Agent in good standing with at least 1 year of experience.
• Proficiency in patent prosecution, drafting, and filing processes.
• Strong expertise in responding to office actions and FERs, and attending hearings with positive outcomes.
• Knowledge of IP laws in India, the US, and the EU, along with compliance requirements and regulatory guidelines.
• Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
• Experience in technology domains including software, electronics, mechanical, electrical, semiconductor, AI-based systems and methods, data science, blockchain, physics, and material sciences.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in science, technology, engineering, law, or a related field is preferred.
• Attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
