Details of the Job/Internship
Khurana & Khurana (K&K) is hiring for the position of Patent Prosecution Professional to join their office in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and prosecute patent applications, particularly in foreign jurisdictions (US, EP, IN).
- Respond to office actions and communications from patent offices.
- Provide legal and technical opinions on patentability, freedom-to-operate, and validity.
- Liaise directly with clients to understand inventions and tailor prosecution strategies.
- Manage and maintain. patent portfolios.
- Review and mentor team members’ work for quality and compliance.
Eligibility
- Degree in Engineering (ECE, EEE, EE, IT, CSE) – Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD.
- Law degree or background in Intellectual Property Law is a strong advantage.
- Hands-on experience with foreign patent prosecution and handling patent office actions.
- Solid understanding of US, EP, and Indian patent laws.
- Strong analytical, drafting, and client communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
