Sherwood high is seeking a qualified and experienced Legal Studies Teacher to join their ISC faculty for Grades XI and XII.

Role and Responsibilities

• Design and implement effective lesson plans in accordance with ISC syllabus and school guidelines.
• Deliver engaging and interactive classroom sessions that foster understanding and analytical thinking.
• Prepare, assess, and provide constructive feedback on assignments, projects, and exams.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ academic progress and attendance.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding students’ development and performance.
• Organize classroom resources and create an encouraging learning environment.
• Plan and participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and educational excursions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance teaching methodologies.
• Attend workshops, training sessions, and professional development programs to continuously enhance teaching skills.
• Uphold school policies, values, and ethical standards in all professional interactions.

Eligibility

• Post-Graduation in Law or related subject (Legal Studies specialization preferred).
• Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in a CISCE-affiliated school (Grades XI & XII – ISC level).
• Strong command over legal concepts and educational pedagogy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in classroom management and student engagement techniques.
• Ability to plan differentiated lessons catering to varied learning abilities.
• Passion for continuous learning and creative teaching.
• Integrity, patience, and strong interpersonal skills.

Salary/Stipend
