Details of the Job/Internship

Team Counsel is hiring for the position of Policy & Research Intern to join their office remotely. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth legal and policy research across various domains.
• Analyze and compare regulatory frameworks in India and globally.
• Draft briefing notes, reports, and articles on legal and policy developments.
• Support internal knowledge initiatives and content creation.
• Assist with background research for client projects and advisory work.
• Collaborate with the team on special projects related to law, policy, and startups.

Eligibility

• Law student (3rd/4th year of a 5-year program or 1st/2nd year of a 3-year program), or a student/recent graduate in law, public policy, governance, or related fields
• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills
• Keen interest in legal developments, policy trends, and the startup ecosystem
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Prior experience in writing reports, articles, or academic/legal publications is a plus
• Familiarity with the Indian legal system and startup environment is preferred, but not mandatory
