Details of the Job/Internship

Kshetra Consulting is hiring a Political Strategy Intern to join its on-site fellowship program in Maharashtra. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Contribute to presentations, policy briefs, strategic decks, and impact assessment reports.
• Support the design and execution of governance and social impact campaigns aligned with policy objectives.
• Lead field-based coordination with local administrative bodies and healthcare institutions for training and capacity building.
• Undertake district-level field immersion to identify community needs and systemic gaps.
• Translate grassroots insights into policy and programmatic interventions.
• Work with organisations across socioeconomic domains to analyse demographic data and generate actionable insights.
• Support implementation of tech-driven governance tools and monitoring dashboards.
• Engage in stakeholder mapping and coordination with government, civil society, and private sector actors.
• Assist in data analytics, monitoring and evaluation, and process mapping activities.

Eligibility

• Students or PhD researchers enrolled in graduate or postgraduate programs in relevant disciplines such as Public Policy, Development Studies, Economics, Public Health, Management, Data Science, AI, Social Work, or allied fields.
• Strong interest in governance, public policy, and grassroots implementation.
• Willingness to relocate to the assigned districts in Maharashtra.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, data analysis, and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
