Details of the Job/Internship

Hobberman & Company is hiring a Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Paralegal with experience of 3+ years to join their office in Pune.

Role and Responsibilities

• Key responsibilities for this role include drafting and reviewing legal correspondence, such as demand letters, pleadings, and settlement documents.
• The paralegal will be responsible for gathering and organizing medical records, police reports, and other case-related documentation to build strong claims. Additionally, they will coordinate with medical providers, investigators, and insurance companies to obtain necessary records and evidence.
• Maintaining regular client communication is essential, ensuring clients are informed about case progress while gathering any required information.
• The role also involves assisting attorneys in negotiating settlements, drafting discovery responses, and preparing demand packages.
• Furthermore, the paralegal will handle the preparation of Medicare/Medicaid notices and lienholder documents as needed.

Eligibility

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 3+ years handling personal injury cases, particularly in pre-litigation.
• Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of personal injury law, insurance claims, and medical records.
• Tech Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, case management software, and legal research tools.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to interact with clients and legal teams effectively.
• Organization: Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
