Details of the Job/Internship
AQUILAW is hiring a Principal Associate – General Litigation with 6–7 years of experience to join their office in Bhubaneswar.
Role and Responsibilities
- Independently manage a diverse portfolio of general and commercial litigation cases.
- Develop and execute comprehensive legal strategies for complex disputes.
- Represent clients and lead arguments before the High Court, NCLT, DRT, and other judicial bodies.
- Draft high-quality pleadings, writ petitions, and legal opinions.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior associates and interns within the litigation team.
- Coordinate with clients to provide regular case updates and strategic advisory.
- Ensure all court filings and procedural requirements are met with statutory accuracy.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
- 6–7 years of strong post-qualification experience in general or commercial litigation.
- Proven expertise in appearing before High Courts and specialized tribunals (NCLT, DRT, etc.).
- Mandatory proficiency in both oral and written Odia.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex legal projects.
- Strong self-motivation, analytical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
