Details of the Job/Internship

Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys is hiring a Principal Associate – Commercial Litigation with experience of 5–7 years to join their office in Hyderabad. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle commercial litigation, real estate disputes, and arbitration matters.
• Draft legal notices, replies, pleadings, rejoinders, appeals, writs, SLPs, and written submissions.
• Represent clients before courts, tribunals, and arbitration forums.
• Conduct legal research and prepare draft documents with value addition.
• Work under the guidance of Associate Partner/Partner in litigation matters.
• Communicate directly with clients when required.
• File documents and appear before regulatory authorities and courts.
• Stay updated with current commercial laws and legal developments.
• Visit courts, regulatory authorities, and client offices as required.

Eligibility

• Three/five-year LL.B. degree from a reputed university with an excellent academic record.
• 5–7 years of post-qualification experience in commercial litigation, real estate, or arbitration.
• Experience in handling commercial contractual disputes, domestic and international arbitration, and civil and criminal litigation.
• Knowledge of commercial laws, IBC, Limitation Act, CPC, Company Law, and Constitution.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to analyse legal issues, conduct research, and draft effectively.
• Experience in client interaction and court appearances.
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in computer usage and digital platforms.
• Must have written articles on relevant legal topics.
• High integrity, honesty, and strong work ethics.

Salary/Stipend
