Details of the Job/Internship

Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan Attorneys is hiring for the position of Principal Associate - Corporate and M&A with5-7 years of experience to join their office in Delhi. 

Role and Responsibilities

Transactional Expertise

• Demonstrated experience in handling Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), private equity investments, venture capital funding, joint ventures, and other strategic corporate transactions.
• Proficient in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex corporate commercial agreements.

Advisory Capabilities

• Sound advisory experience on corporate law, regulatory compliance, and sector-specific legal frameworks.
• Ability to provide actionable legal advice aligned with client objectives and current laws.

Strong Legal Acumen

• Comprehensive knowledge of key statutes including:
• Companies Act, 2013
• Indian Contract Act, 1872
• Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), 1999
• Competition Act, 2002
• SEBI Regulations
• RBI Guidelines
• Labour & Industrial Laws
• Data Protection Laws
• Legal Metrology Act, 2010

Litigation & Dispute Resolution Laws

• Ability to stay abreast of legal reforms and evolving jurisprudence.

Independent Execution

• Capable of managing assignments end-to-end, including client negotiation and final execution.
• Proven ability to handle complex matters independently while adhering to strict deadlines.

Eligibility

• A five-year integrated Law Degree from a recognized university with a strong academic track record.
• Additional qualifications such as LL.M., CA, or CS will be considered an added advantage.
• 5–7 years of post-qualification experience in the corporate law practice of a reputed law firm.

Salary/Stipend
