Details of the Job/Internship
Saga Legal is hiring a Principal Associate – Corporate with over 6 years of post-qualification experience to join their office in New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements.
- Provide day-to-day legal advice to domestic and international clients across sectors.
- Advise on legal aspects of business operations, structuring, and transactions.
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI regulations, and other corporate laws.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies such as ROC, RBI, and MCA.
- Conduct legal due diligence and prepare due diligence reports.
- Draft and negotiate term sheets, shareholder agreements, share purchase agreements, and joint venture agreements.
- Advise on transaction structuring and deal execution.
- Manage client relationships and oversee timely, high-quality deliverables.
- Lead and mentor team members, promoting collaboration and ethical standards.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree from a recognized university; LL.M. preferred.
- Minimum 6 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, M&A, or transactional practice.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Strategic mindset with commercial acumen and client-centric approach.
- Proven ability to manage complex legal matters under pressure.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
