Details of the Job/Internship

Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan is hiring Senior Associate and Principal Associate for its Direct Tax team to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Expand the global footprint of the Direct Tax practice.
• Maintain client relationships and manage expectations while delivering high-quality service.
• Represent the firm in assessments and tribunal appeals before CIT/ITAT.
• Handle domestic and international taxation, including transfer pricing matters.
• Manage litigation and advisory assignments.
• Work on corporate laws, SEBI, and FEMA regulations.
• Conduct research on complex tax issues and apply them to client cases.
• Prepare tax opinions and review case laws.
• Deliver timely and high-quality work products exceeding client expectations.

Eligibility

• Lawyer or CA with LL.B. from a reputed law school with a strong academic record.
• 3–7 years of post-qualification experience in international tax and cross-border transactions.
• Experience in litigation, advisory, and practice development in the international market.
• Strong managerial, organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced professional environment.
