Details of the Job/Internship
AQUILAW is hiring a Principal Associate (Dispute Resolution) with 7–9 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end matter management, providing expert advocacy and strategic direction for complex disputes.
- Regularly appear and argue matters before the Bombay High Court, City Civil Court, and various subordinate courts.
- Handle a diverse portfolio of cases, including real estate disputes, consumer matters, contractual claims, and recovery actions.
- Manage regulatory matters and represent clients in writ petitions before constitutional courts.
- Perform high-quality legal drafting, analytical research, and thorough case preparation.
- Mentor and guide junior associates, overseeing their professional development and quality of work.
- Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and effective case management.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree from a reputed law school in India or abroad.
- 7–9 years of relevant experience in dispute resolution and litigation.
- Mandatory enrollment with the Bar Council of India.
- Proven track record as a seasoned litigator across civil, commercial, and criminal matters.
- Strong drafting, analytical, and research skills.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior legal professionals and lead a team.
