Details of the Job/Internship

Areness is hiring a Principal Associate – General Corporate with experience of 7–10 years to join their office in New Delhi. The role involves overseeing and managing corporate legal matters, drafting and reviewing contracts, providing strategic legal advice, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, and supporting business transactions. The position requires working closely with clients, negotiating terms, and delivering tailored legal solutions to meet varied corporate needs.

Role and Responsibilities

• Overseeing and managing corporate legal matters.
• Drafting and reviewing contracts.
• Providing strategic legal advice.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
• Supporting business transactions.
• Working closely with clients and negotiating terms.
• Delivering tailored legal solutions for corporate needs.

Eligibility

• Strong expertise in Corporate Law, including contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
• Proficiency in corporate compliance and regulatory legal practices.
• Exceptional skills in legal research and case analysis.
• Effective communication, client relationship management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• At least 7–10 years of experience in corporate law or a related field.
• LLB or equivalent legal degree from a reputable institution.
• Ability to manage complex projects independently and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of India’s legal and regulatory landscape; experience in mergers, acquisitions, and corporate transactions is an advantage.
