Details of the Job/Internship
Sachin Mahendra & Associates is hiring for 2 vacancies in the role of Principal Associate (GST & Income Tax) with 6 years of experience to join their office in Defence Colony.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review and comply with GST returns, including GSTR-1, 3B, and annual returns (GSTR-9).
- Perform detailed Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliations (GSTR-2A/2B).
- Conduct comprehensive GST audits and health checks for corporate clients.
- Draft precise and legally sound responses to tax notices and queries.
- Manage all Income Tax related compliances, including TDS returns and Tax Audits.
- Lead and represent the firm in Tribunal Litigation related to tax disputes.
- Mentor and supervise junior team members to ensure quality control in reporting.
- Utilize advanced Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Tally) for data management and reporting.
Eligibility
- CA or CS qualification with 6 years of experience is required.
- LL.B. Degree in addition to CA or CS is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Vlookup, Pivot Tables) is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with ERP software such as SAP and Tally.
- Strong background in both Indirect (GST) and Direct (Income Tax) laws.
- Proven experience in handling Tribunal-level litigation and departmental representations.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
