Details of the Job/Internship
IndiaLaw LLP is hiring a Principal Associate – IBC & Banking Litigation with 6–10 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle matters under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, including CIRP, liquidation, and restructuring.
- Represent clients before NCLT, NCLAT, DRT, DRAT, and High Courts.
- Draft pleadings, applications, replies, rejoinders, and legal opinions.
- Develop case strategies and manage litigation timelines.
- Coordinate with clients and provide timely updates and legal advice.
- Support business development initiatives and identify new opportunities.
- Build and maintain client relationships.
- Supervise and mentor junior associates.
- Review work and ensure quality control.
- Collaborate with internal teams.
Eligibility
- LL.B. or LL.M. from a recognised university.
- 6–10 years of experience in IBC and banking litigation.
- Experience in proceedings before NCLT, NCLAT, and DRT.
- Strong drafting, research, and advocacy skills.
- Experience in client handling and business development.
Salary/Stipend
